Mountain Country will host their 6th Annual Holiday Honky Tonk December 21, 2019 at Leatherheads Sports Bar & Grill. This “Honky Tonk” is a yearly charitable concert for the Utah Food Bank and makes for an unbelievable night of music. Bring your donations, polish up your boots, and step out in support of this musical tradition to help those in need. We want to THANK all the supportive folks down at Leatherheads Sports Bar & Grill for assisting in our efforts to provide an unbelievable event that showcases some of Utah's Americana bands supporting one of Utah's MOST beneficial community programs. 6:00 PM Food Barrels Roll Out ~ Better come early for BEST seats and tables! 8:00 PM ~ Singer/Songwriter Andrew Wiscombe takes the stage to open the night up! This Utah troubadour has toured the Mountain West sharing his observations of the world in crowd pleasing songs and stories. An inspired way to start any Honky Tonk! 8:30 PM Your Honky Tonk host ~ the band Mountain Country works up their hard driving acoustic tunes to set the pace for a full night of honky tonking! Enjoy a fine set of Americana wire twisted up tight on wooden boxes! It's music with roots that plow deep into the Bluegrass and Country genres. Bringing some new tunes and classic traditional covers with the Mountain Country stomp you've come to expect. Look-out ~ this honky tonk is just getting started! 10:00 PM Slim Chance & His Pyscho-Billy Playboys will bring their finest and most requested songs! The dust will fly and the strings will bend to some classic country with a rock-a-billy swagger! For over 15 years this band has been touring the regional bars and honky tonks of the Mountain West! They're the real deal and put on a fantastic show filled with Country, Western Swing, and Honky Tonk favorites! We're so excited to have them at this years Holiday Honky Tonk for the Utah Food Bank!
